Glasgow Kelvin College is a working partner of Connect Entertainment which helps to provide students on their creative industry courses such as music performance, sound production, music business, film & TV, photography, art, fashion and jewellery with work experience and in some cases full time employment.  We hold audition dates twice a year for aspiring musicians on their courses who are interested in joining our roster and also provide multiple  opportunities within the music and events industry out with Connect.

Connect Entertainment is also part of an Erasmus+ programme involving 5 other European colleges which are  Kainuu Vocational College and Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory in Finland, Georg Ots Tallinn Music in Estonia, North West Regional College in Derry and Glasgow Kelvin College. Musicreates is an incredible project which is supported by the Council of the European Union Erasmus Student Network+. We work in partnership with 5 colleges and conservatories throughout Europe, the project Connect’s musicians from each of the five schools. Our partner in Scotland is Glasgow Kelvin College and we would urge anyone considering the music industry or creative industries as a career path to look into their fabulous courses and unique opportunities. Among many other benefits our Musicreates project teaches musicians how to earn a living in the creative industries and the various roles, responsibilities, risks and rewards involved in being a musician.
